Discount Car Rental was founded by Claude Meinrad on the French side of the Caribbean island of St Martin in 2003. Clean, modern cars and first class service at low prices have given Claude a reputation for quality and a regular customer base who come back year after year. 
The office is ideally located in a commercial center at Nettle Bay on the main road from Juliana airport to Marigot (via Maho, not via the bridge). Free airport pickup and drop-off at both Juliana SXM and Grand Case SFG airports. For those customers who want to come to the office we are only 10mn from Juliana airport, 10mn from Marigot Ferry, opposite Hotel Flamboyant and Hotel Mercure, next to Nettle Bay Beach Club (zoom up the map below, turn on the "satellite" image to see our office next to the sea).

2023-09-27Jeep was perfect, reservation and communication was great. Woke up to a flat tire one morning, fixed within 1-1/2 hrs. Extended 2 days extra no problem. Pick up and return at airport door, perfect. Drove extensively everyday and only used 1 tank of gas. Great company I can highly recommend. Thank you Claude for everything. The no hidden fees made this the best deal on the island by far! We would definitely use this car rental again and actually recommended it to others we met at our resort who decided renting is more affordable than taxis due to Claude`s prices!
